A native of Wilmington, Julia Dalton was crowned Miss North Carolina USA on 11 October 2014 and represented North Carolina at the Miss USA 2015 pageant in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Julia is a graduate of High Point University with a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science. Her sister Kristen was Miss USA 2009 and her mother was Miss North Carolina USA 1982.

There’s nothing better than watching a contestant progress from year to year! Julia won Miss North Carolina Teen USA 2008 on her second attempt, after placing third runner-up to Katie Coble at Miss North Carolina Teen USA 2007. She went on to place 2nd runner-up at Miss Teen USA, the first year the pageant was held in the Bahamas. Julia returned to compete in Miss in 2013, finishing second runner-up to Olivia Olvera at Miss North Carolina USA 2014.
